North Florida Communications was recently hired to repair another contractor's cable fail. The customer's beautiful building, only a couple of years old, had all of their network equipment and cabling installed in a room that was too small. To make matters worse, the installing company failed to use proper cabling techniques.

We were brought in to help solve this issue by the new Information Technology provider. Our solution was to install two new racks in the adjacent storeroom and relocate the wiring, network equipment and servers to the new location. Here's what it looks like now:
When hiring someone to install your phone and network cabling, make sure to hire a licensed contractor. Ask for references. This work cost the customer a lot of money, but it should have been done this way from the start.
